Celebrate. Sing. Give.

December 6, 2024, at 7 p.m.

Embrace the holiday spirit at a community sing-along of selections from Handel’s renowned Messiah!

Elgin Sing-Along Messiah is an interactive community sing-along that raises awareness and funding for Elgin charities while showcasing the talent of Elgin-area musicians and vocalists, including the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Larkin High
School Concert Choir, Midwest Opera Theatre, and the Elgin Master Chorale.

As an audience member, you become part of the production, singing the choruses. No musical experience is necessary. The Elgin Sing-Along Messiah is just one hour long, making it perfect for all ages. Gather your friends and join in celebrating, singing, and giving on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at 7 p.m., at the Blizzard Theatre at Elgin Community College.

Tickets are just $5. Children 12 and younger are free.

Join our email list to be alerted to when tickets go on sale.

It’s all for charity

Proceeds from ticket sales and goodwill donations benefit a different Elgin-based charity partner each year.  Elgin Sing-Along Messiah debuted in 2022 and raised more
than $3,500 for Food For Greater Elgin. In 2023, the event raised nearly $5,500
for Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley.
